If you intend to come to Australia for study or work, you need to know about recent government changes affecting the IELTS score you need to get to meet their requirements.

Students transitioning from study to 476 and 485 graduate visas are now required to meet a minimum band score of 5.0 in each of the four test components in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, and an overall band score of at least 6.0. This change applies if you lodge an application on or after 18 April
